I know this thread started a while ago but....didn't know about it 
My favorite spot (if the pesky tourists don't overcome it  ) is Hanauma Bay. When I get in the water and snorkel ( have a fear of the ocean actually, but Hanauma Bay feels enclosed enough for me to enjoy myself and feel safe), I feel a sense of freedom. I feel placed into a different world. Love it!
