Kim, I remember having the same thoughts and feelings as you. You would think I would have been thrilled that I didn't want to eat but every meal depressed me. Like you I wondered if I would ever me able to enjoy the taste of food again. All I wanted was to feel 'normal'.
The enjoyment for me returned. It was gradual but it did come back. Sure I do still have my non-eating days but most of the time I enjoy sitting down to a meal.
For me it took about a year before I could sit down and usually enjoy the food that was on my plate.
Try to not be too hard on yourself Kim. Your feelings and frustrations certainly are shared by many.
