Bad news
They've done studies - its the diet coke. It makes you hungry and after surgery, I at least have been MUCH more sensitive to caffeine, which can make some people hungry anyway. Try taking all caffeine out of your diet for a few days and see if there is a difference.
As for the stall - how long again? You most likely need to change things up. Do something differently and see if it helps. Count every calorie you consume and of course, cut the caffeine.
