I know that you're having bloodwork drawn at the end of the month.

In the meantime, start taking 2 centrums a day as of right now (one morning and one evening).

Increase your citracal - you need between 1,500 and 2,000mg daily. Take 500mg at a time and avoid taking it within a couple of hours of your iron med.

Go to Walmart and pick up a B-12 sublingual as soon as you can. I was started on 1,000mcg/day. They're dirt cheap.

Personally, I'd also recommend you take a B-50 complex. What with your protein difficulties and inadequate vitamin/supplement intake, I'm sure you'd benefit from some additional B vitamins. Walmart or GNC has them.

You might also want to look at a Bariatric vitamin. I take these Bariatric Vitamins | Gastric Bypass Vitamins | Celebrate Bariatric Vitamins - Beth does too.

A little more expensive but they have everything you need and in the right form.

And on your road to start being your own advocate cause it doesn't sound as if your surgeon up to it, start by reading this on the new nutritional guidelines. Heavy going but it really is informative. Hey! Maybe your surgeon could do with a copy!
