I have to admit I have a lot of WLS friends around me that are about two years out and eating whatever they want. You can do it, the question would be is it a good thing for you? Some people get the surgery and after they're healed, and have lost the weight, they go back to eating the way they used to, even though they can't eat as much. I'm pre-op and I'm tempted to follow their lead. Then I come out here to this forum and my friends kick me in the butt!!!!

Life goes on....we're having stomach surgery, not brain surgery.

It will always be a struggle for all of us because we are all emotional eaters to some extent and will always be.

You just need to figure out how you can set limits for yourself. Know what the Dr. says and try and live the way you should.
