My sister is giving me second doubts about having surgery
My sister is 6 months out of surgery. She has lost 70 pounds. The problem is she throws up everytime she eats. I notice she drinks with every meal and is eating all the wrong things according to everything I read. Yesterday she ate corn on the cob and cucumbers in vinegar. I mentioned to her that I thought she wasn't supposed to have corn and she just rolled her eyes at me. Then I heard that she had to stay in bed all afternoon because she was so sick after dinner. She will be 50 in August and she looks 60. Her shoulders are all hooped over and she looks like she couldn't beat her way out of a paper bag. I had my first appt with my doctor last week and everytime I am around her I get so discouraged. Will I be that stubborn that I will eat it even if it's going to make me sick? She also refuses to exercise even though our doctor highly recommends it. The skin under her neck and arms just hangs. I want to get excited but I'm afraid I won't have the control to do the right things either. I read so many success stories on this site and that is very encouraging. I am trying to stay positive. She always says she cant wait to see how I do since I have so much advise for her. I hate to throw up and I hope I wont have to face doing that every day. Any Advice?
