I have had a TT and it didn't cause depression, in fact it was the other way around i was happier and felt freeer..
I don't know what it is about 1 1/2 to 2 years but you do seem to slip into a depression of some sort, I know i have... Its something i am trying to work through. good luck. I would sugest getting help.
