Hi, my name is John.

I'm 2 years and several months out from surgery. I lost 240lbs in 10 1/2 months. Exercise and living a active lifestyle is just part of who I am now. Going out for a 5 mile jog is not the big deal it used to be.

I'm 6"1 and weigh 190lbs. I sometimes dip into the 180's so I can have my abs show through more.

You bet your ass I eat pizza, and whatever the hell else I want

People will tell you all sorts of things. Here's the truth. Everyone is a little different. You may or may not be able to eat pizza and if you can to what degree will only be figured out in time.

I myself could tolerate nearly anything I wanted just months after surgery. Did it change my results? Nope. Did I eat like crap just cause I knew I could, nope!

You need to adopt a new mindset. A more mature one than your previous self was capable of. You need to learn self discipline and control. Realize that you may indeed be able to tolerate all sorts of foods you could pre-op but, that doesn't mean you pig out and go sit on the couch falling asleep watching your favorite tv show.

Get it? Its just a lifestyle change thats needed. The only reason people may be coming at you strong in this thread is they are concerned about your mindset. If you are worried about not being able to eat pizza it doesn't nessesarly mean you aren't in the proper mindset however it does raise a redflag or two.

Take what I say with a grain of salt. After all I was a 450lb mess at one point in my life. Best of luck to you in your journey.
