Aw, you two sound like you are really in love. I think you will be fine. I do think it would be great for him to go to your appointments with you so he feels included in the process. I had to have three psych appointments and my husband went with me to the last one. I think it's good for the spouse to do that if possible to help them with their feelings about the surgery.
