Not to dispute with other's opinions, but............ the reason those meetings are post-op only is because some people may feel inhibited by having pre-ops at the meetings. They may not bring up "touchy" subjects or negative complications if they are afraid that a pre-op might be scared off by their comments. I wouldn't recommend to a pre-op that they attend a post-op only meeting. Their turn will come in time.
