June 30th gastric here. I have lost 24 lbs according to the doctor's scale on my two week checkup. My scale says I have lost about 5 more pounds since then but I am not going to rely on my scale.
Surgery went well and I already notice some changes. No more lower backache when I walk, no more sore ankles. My insulin intake is greatly reduced...in fact, almost down to nothing.
I am off all other meds except for the ones prescribed after my surgery.
Life is good.
