Has anyone started working out yet?
I went to the gym yesterday for about 30 min. I did about 10 min. of cardio before I start on some leg exercises. My endurance is a little lower now then it was before the surgery, but overall it was nice to get into the gym.
After the gym I was starving and I really didn't feel like making anything, so I popped a LC: Mac and Beef meal into the microwave. An hour later I almost crapped myself when I realized I ate the entire meal. I didn't think I worked out that much, but geez... I feel like I ate a ton of food yesterday.
Is it normal to eat so much more after working out? I used to go to the gym all the time before surgery but I never noticed if I ate more food those days versus the days I didn't work out.
Meal Plan for yesterday:
8-9:30: Atkin shake blended with 1/2 frozen banana, 4 sm. strawberries and 1/2 scoop protein powder (this takes me over an hour to drink but sooo good at 25g of protein.)
10-12: 22 oz of water with K2O protein powder (5g of protein)
12-1: LC: Mac and Beef (20g of protein)
1-4: 44 oz of water
4-5: String cheese (5g of protein)
7-8: 2 steamed dumplings (homemade) and 1 chicken & veggie spring roll
