I personally do not have a problem with bread...but as stated before me...it can trigger a not too pleasant dumping session and should only come after you've fulfilled your protein requirements.

My NUT actually encouraged me to get a few more carbs in my diet...but there are a lot of good carbs that aren't necessarily bread. I have found though that if I am really craving the taste of bread, I will eat half a slice of whole grain bread TOASTED with peanut butter on it. It takes a long, loooooonnnngggg time to eat but really hits the spot for me.

I can live without it though. I use it more as a "treat". Makes me feel more "normal"...whatever the heck that means!
