Rach,
I have two suggestions for you:
1) for lunch I usually go to Subway and get a wrap. I peel off the tortilla (and throw it away) as I eat, so I just get meat and veggies. I never have any pouch problems with this.
2) Pepperidge Farm makes great bread for GBS patients. It is called "Very Thin"
Pepperidge Farm Whole Grain Breads - Product Detail and they aren't kidding. It is so thin it is almost see through....but it holds meat, cheese, and all the other fixings. And at less than 40 calories a slice, you can have your splurge guilt free!
We recently discovered it and neither DH (also a gbs) nor I have had any problems. I can usually only eat 1/2 at a time, but just put the rest in a baggie and have a meal for later.
Enjoy!
