Marie,

I don't know how I feel about it. I try not to eat no more than 1/2 cup of food at a time, 5-6 times per day. So far I have lost 21 pounds in 3 wks. I don't know what my bmi is because I haven't had it checked lately, plus I am working my butt off at Curves EVERYDAY. I don't stop when I feel full, I stop at 1/2 cup of food period (usually not that full feeling, but content). So far I have had no food issues. Everything stays down and no dumping. Here is a sample of my daily eating schedule:

break: 8 oz protein shake - drink w/i 1 hr.
am snack: yogurt
lunch: 1/2 cup cottage cheese w/tuna or 1-2 slices of lean ham or turkey
pm snack: 4 oz V-8 juice
dinner: usually approx. 2 oz whatever meat everyone else is having (except beef), then fill up the rest with well cooked veggies.
eve. snack: fruit smoothie, some kind of melon, or sometimes nothing.

Before I had this surgery I would only eat 1 - 2 meals a day and a snack in the evening. So the way I eat not is a huge difference from the way I ate 3 wks ago. Plus I am working out now and I never did that before surgery.

I really don't know what to do. I feel like I am eating & working out now the way I should have been my whole life, and that is why I am losing weight, not because I had the surgery. But when I went to the support group at the nutrition clinic they made me feel like such a stupid idiot, there is no way I should be eating this much food so soon after wls.

I honestly don't feel like what I am doing is wrong, I feel like this is what I should have been doing my whole life. I am so damn frustrated and confused now.
