P.S. I am posting this on a few different boards so if you see it twice, you are not seeing things....Thanks!
I had lap RNY. In the hospital I didn't pee enough for them so I got kept and extra day. I went in on Monday April 21 and home April 24. Guess what, every day since then has been better and better. The first 10 days was a mostly recuperating for me. After that I was out walking, shopping, driving, whatever. I went back to work after only 3 weeks. I was a little tired but once again no complications. I have followed my DR adivce to the T. I could not drink all the water recommended. I asked my DR about this on my 1 week follow up and he said "nobody ever does!"
However, this is MAJOR surgery so anything can happen but I am 8 weeks out and SO happy I did this. I would again - in a heartbeat.
