4 years last month. Still maintaining in the 240s (220 lbs gone).

I know that I will continue find new post-op challenges as my journey continues, but it seems like everything started coming together at the end of year 3. If next year is as good as the last (knock on wood), I've got nothing to complain about.

4 years last month. I'm much happier than I was, but have a long way to go. I sabatoged myself for about a year with very poor nutrition and stalled out completely. Like Jim said, there are always challenges, and it's a journey. I'm still learning, and imrpoving mysself, and I know I'll get there.

Trying so hard to get back on track, face that I can't do it alone, stop beating myself up for my failings... UPDATE: Well, after the 7 lb. drop last week, this week I didn't lose *anything*. Didn't gain, but it's discouraging.

Default 3 years out and doing pretty good

I was three years out June 2.
Lost 143 lbs, Gained 33 during a pregnancy last year (had a healty baby boy).
Lost 23 pregnancy pounds and now wanting to loose 10-15 more.
(stupid carb monsters I have a love/hate relationship with carbs)!!
My life has changed alot during the last three years.
I can now go to the water park and beach with my kids and wear a bathing suit and feel good about it!
I can exercise at the gym and feel like I am not going to have a heart attack!
I like shopping for clothes now instead of dreading it and getting depressed over my size
I still dump when I eat things that are bad for me (some sugars/candies) or I eat too much!
I would DO THE SURGERY AGAIN IN A SECOND!! It has changed my life in so many ways & I am very greatful that I made the commitment to do it!
