freezing
hello everyone! i was wondering if it is just me? I am freezing all the time, It is fall and I am felling like it is bitter winter. My hands and feet are cold all the time. I am 5 weeks pregnant and i was wondering if any one else is cold all the time. I know with the rapid weight loss i was cold but it has been 3 years since my surgery. Do you think being pregnant has anything to do with this? I have a dr. apt tuesday and will get blood work done, i was thinking maybe my iron or something might be low or maybe its nothing, im just cold. I do take my vitamins and iron and b12 daily, i never miss a day. Is anyone else freezing or is it just me?

First, CONGRATULATIONS on your pregnancy!! How exciting!
As for the cold, I am FREEZING as well. I heard we are going to get a harsh winter this year, but I didn't expect the temperature to drop as quick as it has. But, I also go to school in New England, which is known for its cold winters. Good luck keepin' warm!

Pre op I was always a sweaty mess. Now 3 months post op I am always cold. My hands and feet are always freezing. I was thinking this was becasue before surgery I was carrying an extra 70lbs. Not as much insulation anymore!

Before the surgery i was known as the "no coat mom"
always on the bus stop with my daughter, even in the bitter cold with
no coat ever.
Now, it could be 55 out and i am shiverring. My boyfriend says that i am missing my warm outer layer....lol
I am def not gonna like the winter this year.....i might have to set the thermostat in my house to 80 just to not freeze !!!

I'm always cold. Right now... I'm wearing my coat inside my office. I too think it's due to the missing "isulation." But 4 years out.. you'd think my body would be adapted to the change...lol.

Ice cube woman
Yea - I'm cold. Always. When I do a major ride, I'm always in underarmor, long sleeves etc. All the other cyclists look at me and say, "You're gonna die out there" and i'm like, "Feel my hands man - they're ice cubes" and I almost NEVER take anything off and this is while doing 50 miles! can you imagine me just sitting around? I'm frozen.
John said his lasted about two years but he's starting to warm up now. He's a man though (I hope that is obvious) and I think it will take us longer to adjust. I mean, he can wear shorts in the house and I'll be wearing a sweater. Yea - ice cube.
And congrats on the pregnancy!!!

I've turned into a freezing, whiny bitch! LOL.
Poor Geof.. here we are newlyweds, and I'm wearing fleece pants and a sweatshirt to bed! Thankfully, he thinks it's cute. I wish my ducksack would get here! Last night, we're sitting here, and I'm in my fleece/sweatshirt, heavy socks & slipper.. and he's sitting there in a t-shirt and barefeet, laughing at my whine. The temp in the house was 69..
We were talking about that first winter we were dating, when he'd be in hat, coat, boots & gloves and I'd be wearing clogs with no socks, a spring coat and maybe a scarf and he had trouble believing I wasn't cold.
