Default Three Years July 5.

I had my GBS three years ago July 5. I just had a tummy tuck and breast life in June. I still get compliments on my looks almost every single day. I feel so blessed to have been able to do this. I know there are millions of people out there who would give anything to be able to afford these surgeries. I am so glad that the insurance companies are starting to cover this surgery more and more. My insurance company said absolutely not three years ago but are now allowing it if you jump through hoops. I don't even wish I had waited until insurance paid for it because my life is so much better. I don't even care that I spent $20,000 for both surgeries. PRIORITIES!

Question Just a question

Hi there ! I am in the predetermination phase to getting WLS GB. I was aware that some folks have deficientcies in iron and calcium but today I ran across a blog and the woman was having seizures, hypoglycemia and having to take iron shots because she was severly anemic. Talk about the end of the honeymoon stage....lolol! Have you noticed any health problems/changes after your surgery now that you have been out for a while? I know that this could be an isolated case, I just want to fully informed as I make this decision. Do you know of any websites (particularly medical in nature) that discusses this issue?
