At one point, in the late 60's she had so many medications for so many different things I never knew what I was walking into when I came home from school! She had terrible mood swings, and a temper like you wouldn't believe. Yes, she had an addiction, and she finally kicked it. But never really did overcome her weight problem.

My grandmother didn't believe anyone should be "fat". She started in on mom about me. Mom did stand up for me and told her very bluntly never to say anything to me about my size, and she never did.

Wow, it was my Grandma that started it with my Mom too! I love my Grandma, she's still alive and kickin' at 96, but she was always on me about my weight and to sit and stand up straight. Too funny the similarities we share.
