Generally 2 weeks post op is full liquids which means protein shakes, popcicles, any clear liquid (I would take soup and strain all of the chunks out of it and drink the broth because it tasted so much better then bullion).
Week 3 is usually adding in soft foods like eggs, cheese, yogurt and cottage cheese
Week 4 fish and deli meat
Week 6 chicken breast and more dense proteins
This is all a basic guide. I didn't pull my book out to give you full lists and I'm sure someone who is newer out can probably give you a better more complete list.
One thing, however, is that you should NOT be swallowing pills of ANY kind. My doc gives the ok between 6-8 weeks post op for that. Until that time you need to crush any meds that you are taking or find liquid or chewable alternatives. This includes taking a multi-vitamin. My center suggests a chewable created specifically for GBS patients called Optisource but I don't know that it's available in the UK. Maybe some of the UK members can give you ideas on things that are available there.
Your pouch is still VERY new. You need to be very gentle with it and take it easy. This is MAJOR surgery and it will take you between 5-8 weeks to really heal. You will still probably have some fatigue even after that. Make sure that you are getting lab workups done to know if you're taking enough of your vitamins and really work on drinking 64oz of no calorie decaf fluids a day and working towards 60 grams of protein a day.
