I posted this in my own thread about fear of plastics and then realized probably it won't get read so started a new thread, any info you guys can give me is
Thanks for your replies everyone re: getting past the fear. I know you are all right, I won't see the blood, I think it was just the idea of what was being done while I was under and having seen it on tv. I know the result is going to be well worth it.
Now, I'm not sure where I'd have this done, whether it will be in Canada or the US. I did see an interesting website and wondered if anyone knew anything about this surgeon (Dr. Michael Bermant) and this surgery 'Tumescent Lower Body Lift':
Before and After Photos Female Lower Body Lift Surgery
I was looking at the 26 year old female, except for her age, we have very similar stats of weight loss and I swear my body is her 'before' body. I like her result - very impressive. I, of course, won't be considering any surgery til after my one year RNY anniversary but I am trying to do as much pre-research as possible so that when it comes to making a decision I have as much information as I can to make an informed choice.
Again, just wondering if anyone has heard anything about this particular surgery (I had not heard of it described as a tumescent LBL) or this surgeon?
Thanks again!
