update: Well, I got in contact with my surgeon and he claims that I don't need to worry about any tests to determine if my pouch or connectors are too big...he said that I alone will determine my success and that there are no tests for that.
Not exactly the answer I was looking for, but I guess I'll have to settle for it.

My weight is dropping and I've been excersizing like a madwoman. I'm still feeling hungry, but not as bad as it was a week ago.

In my early stages I'm able to tolerate chicken and even beef, which is amazing. The only time I've gotten sick was yesterday when I ate some refried beans and it didn't agree with my pouch, I was dry heaving and felt nauseated for a good hour - wow, that was a terrible feeling!
