It's just made different and does indeed have a LOT more protein. The 2% has 17g protein for a 7oz serving. It is a plain yogurt, so it is more like sour cream when it doesn't have anything added to it, and is a much thicker, creamier texture than regular yogurt. I add 2 packets of Splenda and can eat it like that, but usually I also crumble a granola bar into it for texture and flavor and a total protein count of 23g for my lunch. Many people also use it in smoothies or for cooking or as a substitute for sour cream. Lots of uses!
