I had surgery on April 16th, got home four days later. My problem is that while I generally feel pretty good, I have a bad hip. The pain meds for the GBS helped me feel no pain for the hip, but now I am off NSAIDS which I took before for the hip pain, and the liquid tylenol isn't really cutting the hip pain. I know I probably shouldn't overdo it with the Loritab stuff which worked before, but I am going to ask my doctor to renew that RX for me....Also, I was losing like crazy initially, but it seems I am on a plateau for the last three days, wt-wise. I think that's normal, but I don't like my wife questioning me as to whether I am eating too much--cause I am NOT.
