I had surgery on April 29 and was astounded at how fantastic I felt the very next day. Silly me. I took to walking right away, and three days post-surgery I walked too far in the park, and realized I had to walk ALL the way back to my car. That was one looong walk.

Hey, we've just had major surgery! According to my manual, this period is six weeks.

One moment I feel as though I could conquer the world, and the next I could fall asleep on my feet.

Do get that water and protein in. That is my big accomplishment every day -- making the final check marks in my daily nutrition log. I've decided it''s just fine if I don't get a load of dishes done or my hair washed. We'll live in squalor for six weeks! LOL!
