My periods tend to be like this now, pre-op. The stringy clots that you're passing are actually the pieces of the uterine wall that were lined and is being shed quickly.
When mine is bad like that.. it almost reminds me of what a miscarriage must be like. And it'll be really super heavy like that where i can't even leave the bathroom for about an hour or 2 then calm down.
Hopefully yours too shall pass!
