I'm not sure the best way to handle it. I was thinking of centralizing all the stuff (and I'd just keep it in bins by size). I figured I could set up a paypal or something for people to pay the postage to and I would track 'credits' via a database that I would set up and host online. I thought I could attempt a photo catalog of items so people could actually 'shop' the site for things they prefer.

But it's a great point that it could get out of hand space-wise. I don't have extra rooms to store the stuff (if I did I would gladly do it). I could certainly handle it as long as it wasn't exceeding maybe 10-15 bins but past that it would start to become a concern.

If I were to just keep track of 'credits' for things that were sent to someone else it would certainly be easier for me... but I think the whole concept would lose a lot of appeal to people that may want to clean out their closet and ask for nothing in return. Also, it would be hard to earn 'credits' if you couldn't find anyone who wanted the things you had to offer.

I'm certainly open to suggestions, or if anyone has ample space and is interested in teaming up on the project and handling the storage aspect let me know. It's the computer part of it that has me most intrigued (the degree I'm working on is computer related), and the opportunity to be of service to a group of people that offer so much support.
