Ive been tested for thyroid problems, liver problems, diabetes and electrolytes (whatever they are) Ive yet to lear the results. I would love to hear from people who have had the surgery and whether they are glad they went through it or whether they wish they had never bothered. Be great to hear from you whatever your situation.

I have found out with Drs. when they send you for any tests at all, blood, x-rays, diagnostic test, you need to do the follow-uo and ask the doctor how were the test, were they normal and may I have a copy! Don't feel aggresive you need to be when it comes to your health. U have not had the surgery by the surgeon I was going to have was a Dr. Erik Dutson from UCLA they gave a sheet of all they wanted and I took off with it and got all specialty dr.s' to do the tests I needed. My PCP did the standard Lab work and other blood work that was requested and he also di the EKG but for this procedure they wanted a full heart stress test, so don't be alarmed, make sure you get copies for your file in case the surgeon that is doing yours loses his, if Doctors are from out of town like mine from UCLA ( I live in Oxnard, CA) they wanted everything faxed so I kept calling Dr.s offices to make sure they did their job! Good Luck and I am still looking for a surgeon, Maube you can help me.. I can't have the Lap Band. Gina
