Yay, Marella! I'm glad you have a spunky attitute, even though things weren't 100% with your experience!
I gained 12 pounds from the IV, but have dropped that plus a couple more, which is nice. I hadn't prepared myself for looking at a scale with such high numbers again! LOL!
So far everything I've eaten has tasted good, and has stayed down just fine. V8 Juice causes gas, but nothing else does. I'm keeping a very detailed nutrition journal (more detailed than Barix requires) because I know it will help me down the road.
Having the surgery lap, I'm feeling terrific and drove today (only 1/4 mile, to the park so I could walk). We live on a busy road and it's not safe to walk to the park entrance. I walked too far, and walking back to my car was exhausting -- I'll be more careful next time. I almost flagged down a park ranger to pick me up!
