5 protein shakes a day is pretty generous. I could definitely handle that. Well, I suppose I'll have to "handle" anything they tell me to do, right? After going through all of these hoops and hurdles to get to this point, I'm not going to let 2 weeks of starvation stop me now! Afterall, the contestants on Survivor do it, PLUS they eat bugs. Ewwww!

Your idea about "practicing" with a shake a day beforehand is a good idea. Actually, I bought some vanilla Body Fortress whey protein at Wally World yesterday evening, and tried it out for breakfast this morning. I was expecting to be grossed out, but surprisingly it wasn't bad at all...just a little too sweet for my tastes. Next time, I'm going to blend it up with a few ice cubes and that should dilute the sweetness and make it more like a real milkshake.
