I resemble that remark! I know this is not a confessional, but I feel I need to put it down in writing for my own "healing". If I told you what I have been eating for the past year you would be shocked that I had not gained back at least 50lbs. or even more. I was at the point where I NEVER took a sip of water, ate chocolate at my desk ALL day, ate Cheeze-its the second I walked in the door (and A LOT of them), had the dinner that I had planned for the family and then ate dessert and that is not counting all the other snacking that I didn't even think about.
This week was honestly a lot easier then I thought it was going to be. I did not stray from the plan once. I was sick for part of it and I am hoping that that did not have anything to do with the lack of appetite. I guess I will find out the next time I do the test. I did get on the scale every day...like I said I wasn't going to.

..but I'm okay with it! The scale never dissapointed me...thankfully! I believe my weight loss was FANTASTIC...but I also believe that I had some water retention going on from all the c-rap I was eating prior to the test. I'm going into next week with a plan. I'm not doing the test again just yet, but I am going to eat mostly the plan way adding in some string cheese and still cutting out the Diet Coke and downing the water! I am really excited that the 5DPT has inspired me to use my tool. Thank you all for doing it with me! Coming here and reading everyones posts every day kept me motivated. If I need to I will re-read these posts next week to stay strong.
OHHH...last night I went on my normal weekly grocery shopping trip and had the BIG box of Cheeze-its in the cart...two isles later I thought "what the hell are you doing"...and stuck them on a random shelf (sorry box boy guy, had to do it).
Sooo, here are my stats:
Monday Weigh In: 194

Saturday Weigh In: 186
8 POUNDS IN 5 DAYS!! I have not lost that much in 5 days since March 2006. I know this test was not to lose weight but I am soooo happy.
