I've always had hyper dry skin but it has been more of a problem since losing weight. I also have eczema.

Over the years, I've picked up a few good tips that aren't expensive.

1. Don't have your shower/bath too hot.

2. Limit the time you spend in the shower/bath.

3. Go easy with your soap/shower gel. I generally just soap the bits that matter.

4. ALMOND OIL on wet skin is amazing stuff. Shower but while still wet, rub almond oil into your skin and pat dry.

5. For really dry areas, make up a paste of fine sea salt and almond oil. Rub that into the skin - it will exfoliate the dry skin which is generally the cause of the itches. Rinse the salt off under the shower but do not use soap - that'll wash the oil off. Pat dry.
