Dave, I also that the inverted T for my TT. I also had my thighs done at the same time. I had a small hernia and the the thightening of the muscles took care of that. I was in the OR a little over 7 hours. It was supposed to be around 4....of course I didn't know until I was being wheeled up to my room and my husband was like it'a almost 9 pm. I was taken to the OR just a little before 1. I had so much skin that it took longer. It was rough the first 5-6 days but got a little better each day. I had to use a walker the first 2 days and was hunched over walking around like this little evil garden troll. But it was worth every bit of pain to get rid of my "stomachs". Since I had the stomach and thighs done, I had a body compression garment that I had to wear. Had 2 drains that stayed in for 12 days. I've had some revisions done and will be having hopefully final revision on upper abd and my arms done the end of this year. I was out of work 3.5 weeks, but have a desk job now so I was able to go back. If I still worked in the ER, I probably would have been out at least 6 and had to go back with major restrictions. You will not be able to lift more than 5 lbs for 8 weeks. That means you can't even pick up a full gallon on milk. You definately would want a foam wedge pillow to sleep on...this was a godsend for me, because you will not be able to lay flat for a while. Again, it's a rough procedure and not something to take lightly. But I would do it all over again and twice on Sunday. Good luck to you and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Sue
