My daughter was with her Dad when I had my surgery...she didn't come back until I was 3 and a half weeks out...so it was nice to not have kid responsibilities. You might ask your husband to take over the kid stuff for a week or so.
I found it really hard to watch my hunny eat real food as I was sucking down mush. He ate in the kitchen so that it wasn't right in my face. I was extremely emotinaly for the firsr couple of weeks...and he was quite understanding. Let your hubby know that it's quite possible that you'll be all over the map, and that it's not about him.
The other thing that was a really big issue for me was sleep. I found it so hard to stay asleep as I was in pain. You might want to set up house on your couch so that you're not disturbed while slumbering.

Goal! I did it!
105 pounds gone since my RNY
119 total pounds gone forever!
I finally have a "normal" BMI
Reached my first goal of 145...and setting a new one of 135.
Reached 135 and have decided to lose another five if I can.
I'm in the 130's for the first time since puberty!
