Thumbs up Surgery's on Tuesday!

Hi all,

I haven't posted much but have been lurking around getting lots of good info from all of you as I prepare for my surgery on the 29th. 'Thann, I'll be thinking of you that day as you go for your surgery as well. It's a bit scary as I think about what's coming, but I'm also excited to be looking at a healthier lifestyle. I think my DH will also benefit from the changes in my/our diet.

I wanted to say thanks to all who have been so generous with your advice on preparing for the surgery, and for the info on what to do afterwards. Thanks to you and the helpful folks at my doctor's office I am stocked up on good things to eat that won't challenge my pouch, I know what to take to the hospital, have a good idea of what to expect in the way of pain and happenings when I get home, and have some great examples of the benefits of this surgery from looking at your pictures and postings.

Tomorrow (Sunday) is my "clean the house like a maniac" day, Monday is a work day, and Monday night is when I pretend to sleep. Surgery is at 11 on Tuesday so before I know it I'll be home and healing.

Thanks again to all of you for your great support, and slide over to leave me room on the Loser's Bench, I'll be there soon! I'll post after I get home to let you know how much room I'll need on that bench, and to get a good update on my signature block of pre-weights and post-surgery goals.
