It may feel "left out" in the beginning but with time , as others have stated, you fall into a good place and you will THANK GOD you have a cool tool to help you get control.

I was thinking yesterday while eating...A Lean Cuisine frozen meal thingy....

"This IS the portion size I SHOULD have been eating before surgery"

It is amazing when I think back to the amount of food this chick here could put down...

Hey and Social settings freaking ROCK....Most parties have finger foods and small appetizers...you can sample a little of everything..take a bite and move on.That is the one thing I love about my tool, just a little goes a LONNNG way even at 3 years out.

You will be surprised....Watching people eat post -op is like a Freak Show..they shovel food in and hardly chew...I watch others eat and wonder if they even taste what they are eating?Do they really enjoy their food?I know for a fact, I didn't chew my food well if at all before surgery..I would strain my neck to swallow...How is that for a Food Addict?

It is tough but you can do it, you will have a great tool to help you.Start good habits from the beginning and you will have control long term post op.

Excited for your Journey to begin,
