Protein is one of the single most important catalysts post op. First off it keeps your hair from falling out. You will shed some due to the stress of the surgery but keeping your protein makes hairloss minimal. Plus protein helps with your muscle. Also if you follow your diet your will acheive your maximum weight loss, lacking in protein will cause your loss to slow.
