Welcome to TT forum Art. Good to have another guy come on the site, not too many of us here. However that being said the woman here are wonderful, supportive and wise, of coarse as are us guys.
Congratulations on starting a wonderful new chapter of your life. I have can relate to the dieting as well as getting used to the new eating after the initial Gastric Bypass operation. Honestly part of this new journey teaches us patience, more so than most have known before, which I dont think is so terrible. I would say take in the water and prescribed foods that you can for now, and keep trying to stay within the suggested eating choices these first 3-6 weeks, it'll start changing soon.
Wishing a great journey forward Art and dont hesitate being specific about anything you may want to ask or have concern about.
