Default Don't Let Anyone Scare You

HI, I became pregnant 3 months post!!! I was luck and had lost the majority of my weight so nutritional issues weren't a biggie for me. I lost 75 lbs in those 3 months!!!! I then gained only only only 23 lbs and it was all baby only!!!! I looked great they said. Doctors TOLD me to ABORT and I took my healthy baby in to show him but he refused to see me what an idiot. At the time in 2003 there was very little research about the results of early pregnancy so I ignored their request to abort then they asked me if I was Catholic so that did it for me. I didn't see them unless I had to. I did fairly well. I had another baby 2 yrs later and unfortunately gained 50 lbs and still have the tummy and boobs to show it. OH well. But it is true you do NOT need to eat much more to sustain the baby that is a huge myth.
Also be careful with people who have not worked with pregnancy in post gastric women. They freaked on me and the nutritionist said I had to take double the vitamins , etc and it was not true at all. They also told me I would have to be eating all day long and I would be causing the baby trauma. What I kept telling them was that was all based on the unknown nutritional complications PRIOR to the MAJOR weight loss. I had already lost the majority of it but it does take the body over a year to get used to the new body and how to use the nutritional values you are adding to it.

So good luck and you will be fine!!!
