I agree completely with you. If you do not feel comfortable definitely do something about it. I actually ran into something similar. I have not yet had my surgery however I have already went to my orientation, done all my testing and also met with the surgeons office. The very first day in my process was my orientation where one of the surgeons talked about every little detail with us. At that orientation I felt so uncomfortable with the surgeon. The whole time he was giving his presentation he was staring at me. I expect that from people who truly don't understand and when I am not around many other people of my size or bigger, however there were many my size and bigger there. Well anyways when I went to the surgeons office and met with the nurse practitioner she try to, and actually scheduled me to meet with the same surgeon that gave the seminar even though there were two others available. I didn't protest too much at the time because I felt very intimidated. However, once I got home and had time to think about it I realized that this is one of the most important things I will ever do and I need to make sure that everything is right for me, so I called the office and switched surgeons the next day. Since I made the switch I just feel so much better about the whole situation, I'm not even nervous about anything just anxious for my new lfe.
