Default Eating Out ...

I'm only 6 weeks out from surgery, so I don't have too much to offer here ...
but I have learned a few things from eating out.

1. Know where you're going and what's on the menu. Sitting down at a table only to discover that there is nothing on that darn menu you can eat is the pits. Plan ahead.

2. If you have your heart set on something like seafood or chinese or whatever ... I strongly reccomend you try it at home FIRST! You don't want to get sick or 'dump' away from home if you can avoid it.

3. If you go out to eat on a whim and aren't sure what to order, try asking for items that aren't on the menu. Especially places that serve breakfast are more than happy to serve you a small bowl of cottage cheese, or make you a scrambled egg at any time of the day (or evening). And they only charge a couple of bucks.

Just try to stick to what you already know your pouch can handle.

Hope this helped a little ...
