When I first moved to solid foods I had to be really careful about what I ate, especially when eating out. I tended to stick to grilled shrimp or chicken and steamed veggies because I knew they wouldn't make me sick. I also would do refried beans and a pollo asado taco if I had mexican and just eat the stuff out of the taco not the tortilla. I kind of stayed away from Chinese, just because I find it to be really greasy and I had and continue to have issues with really greasy food, but I would order hot and sour soup.

Both pasta and rice will probably be hard to eat for awhile. Especially rice and spaghetti type noodles. They are really hard to chew properly and rice especially seemed to expand in my pouch and make me uncomfortable.

I would hold off until you are a little further out and then start adding maybe a 1/4 or an 1/8 of a cup of rice to your stir-fry or whatever you are eating. I eat brown rice a couple of times a week but I find that any more that 1/4 makes me uncomfortable.
