Hello everyone,
I just found this forum today, and I'm so glad I did! After almost 16 months of waiting, appointments, testing, more waiting, having surgery scheduled and then cancelled, more testing and appointments, I am now 2 1/2 weeks away from my re-scheduled lap RNY on April 30th. And for the first time, I'm starting to get nervous! I guess after all this time, it's starting to seem very real. My surgeon is supposedly one of the best, so I'm not so worried about the procedure itself, more about the permanent lifestyle changes this will require of me.
I definitely intend to use this forum as a resource, but an angel or mentor would be wonderful as well!! I have a question about something that's weighing on my mind, but I'm not sure it would be appropriate to ask in a general forum.
Glad to meet everyone -- you are an inspiration!
