Hello Mark,

I'm 12 weeks post-op...and I too experience hunger. I guess we are not one of the lucky people who NEVER have hunger. I'd personally stick closely to a soft food diet until your pouch heals. I ate some mashed up chili beans about 2 weeks post op...but was told they should have been BLENDED up at that time. You do not want anything hard/sharp irritating your pouch...period! Once the swelling goes down and you are on a regular type food diet...you will feel the fullness...I promise! For now, measure everything to make sure you are getting in enough protein/fluids/acceptable foods.

Good luck!

Cathy

PS~ You mentioned you were not sure if you actually had the surgery...I was concerned that my doctor did an experimental fetal implantation (boy, was my stomach looking pregnant!!!)
