Smile Newfangled string on my finger

I'm back at work this week after being out for eight weeks and time just flies like crazy. I kept forgetting to drink fluids and even missed a couple of meals.

Yesterday, I found a solution!

Our company uses Outlook so, I set up 'task' reminders: the first for fluid.. it's set to remind me starting at 9am "Drink now" and I drink and then hit the 'snooze' for 15 minutes and all day long it is reminding me to drink up! I also remember sometimes to drink in between, but this is to keep me from getting too engrossed in what I'm doing for too long of a time.

The second 'task' reminder is to take breaks to get away from my desk at reg. intervals and move my body and the last 'task' is to remind me to EAT! Something I never thought possible, I often would forget.

I also (re)-started using Fitday (paid version) to log the food I plan to eat and log the food I do actually eat-not always the same, LOL.

Anyway, I did a quick search to see if others had posted the tip about Outlook task reminders to help keep on track an didn't see anything.

I'd love to hear of other ideas if anyone has tips to keep me on track.. the tried and true would be great!
