Hi Sam... welcome to TT! Beth is right... research as much as you can and listen to your surgeon's advise... attend some of his support group meetings if possible to see and hear from some of his other patients... You cannot have "too much" information when it comes to this decision...
My DH was not too convinced either - but now that it's over and done with - and I'm doing so well, he's happy for me!
