Hi Sam!
My husband was very much against any WLS in the beginning but he came with me to see the surgeon and joined in a few classes.
The more he learnt the more he understood that at 52, I really didn't have much of an option. Years of yoyo dieting had left me heavier than at any time and my quality of life was at an all time low.
Would I do it again knowing what I now know? You bet I would - my only regret is not doing it sooner.
No one can make the decision for you sweetheart but as Beth suggests, research as much as you can. Only then will you be able to feel comfortable with your decision one way or the other.
