I didn't think it sounded right either, but the PA kept insisting if I wasn't eating ice cream, I would lose 'eventually'.

My daily diet consists of the following (as an example):

One egg
later a half banana or small orange
chicken thigh 2 ounces
50% low fat cheddar- 2 ounces
ground chicken- 2 ounces with tablespoon of low-fat, low sugar tomato sauce
cooked till their dead green beans or broccoli, or some other non-starch veggie

(that's about the max for food.. often it is less and my doctor has me focusing more on protein first)

For liquids, I usually drink approx. four 12 ounce cups of herbal tea (warm liquids are usually tolerated better than cold)
plus another 20 ounce bottle of water, if I can, though I often find I fall asleep and don't get all my liquid in.

It's depressing to check the scale and not see a loss after 5 weeks.. today it was up 2lbs and I thought What the H?? Hard to keep the faith that this was the right thing to do.
