Hi Marina,

I have hypothyroidism but I haven't has WLS yet. I'm still waiting. I have been taking Synthroid for this condition for years now. That is a very common drug used. It really hasn't help me lose any weight and does keep my thyroid within the normal ranges.

Like other posters, I'm glad to see that keeping the weight off after WLS is possible by your posts.

I agree with John above that this should be a "sticky". Maybe others that are out 5 years and more can post for us newbies. Just to have another bit of information for decision making.
